Utah’s Wasatch Valley Market Adds Sixth Club for the 2025 @WPSL Season as 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗦𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗙𝗖 becomes the league’s latest expansion.
Founded in 2016, MetaSport FC now provides more than 450 players of all levels the opportunity to play and grow as players and well-rounded people, with an emphasis on empowering athletes through challenge and support so they can achieve their goals and while having fun.
With the announcement, MetaSport FC furthers the club’s commitment to player development, community growth, and a long-term commitment to advancing women’s soccer in Utah.
“I am thrilled to contribute to the growth of women’s soccer in Utah and to build on the dedication of the many talented young women in the state,” Gabi Geng, MetaSport FC head coach, said. “Our mission centers on creating an elite pathway that bridges the gap between youth soccer and professional opportunities, while fostering a supportive environment for player development.”
Now the sixth WPSL club in the Salt Lake City metropolitan market, MetaSport FC will further its focus on "Leadership, Experience, Growth, and Opportunity" for collegiate, post-collegiate, and aspiring professional players.
